What I am lovin' now........SHEATH Dresses!!!!!

I have a couple engagements I am attending soon and I need to find a dress that will work for both so I went shopping.  I wanted to try something new and navigate away from the "ol standard" styles that I always wear.  I started trying on sheath dresses and found myself addicted! I bought 4 of them (can only keep 1...boooo)  What's a sheath dress you ask?  It's a form fitted-body hugging dress that's very classic.  It usually has darts and pleats to accentuate your curves.  The sheath dress has been around for years and is really making a huge "come back".  It is surprisingly very flattering on plus size bodies as well.  These dresses are usually very simple not only in cut but style.....solid colors and understated patterns.   The sheath can be worn year round...........from office to cocktail to date-night to special occasion..........it's worth the investment and every women should have one in their closet.  To vamp it up just wear some sexy pumps or platform heels!  They also look cute with flats!  Here are some cute examples of sheaths.
PS Because they are body hugging.............it should fit you like a glove!  Tailoring is key!

I love this look!  Vanessa Hudgens really got it right!  This dress scream summer.  It's soft and really compliments her figure and skin tone.  The pale pink ankle strap shoes are to die for!!!!  The dress is by M Missoni which is one of my favorite labels.  Missoni Italian Fashion House has been designing for over 70 years.  They are known for their prints and soft fabrics (almost sweater like).  Vintage designs are highly sought after.......very classic and ALWAYS chic. 

Spotlight Designer: Victor Dzenk IS summer!

Victor Dzenk is one of my favorite designers. For years his beachy styles have walked the runways and have been worn by women globally. His designs for the Summer 2010 collection were inspired by the beaches of Saint Tropez. The colors are bright with shades of coral, blue, yellow, orange, and black. His cuts are all very feminine and flowy that would flatter any body type. Did I mention the stylish hats and scarves? They are very chic, and compliment each look perfectly.
